I was blessed to have not 1 but 3 closets to shop in while growing up - mine, my sister's & my mom's. Chelsea has always had such a phenomenal sense of style & to this day, I ask to borrow belts, jewelry & shoes whenever we're in the same town! Until we started growing like weeds in our teen years, we browsed Mom's closet for wardrobe updates. It only makes sense that Chelsea, a woman with such fantastic style, would then use her incredible taste to help others!

Shiloh Claire | Newborn Session

Would you just look at this little precious girl? Ahhhh ♥. I'm proud to say Shiloh Claire is the newest little Fairweather & our fourth niece. Dean & I got to visit with Craig, Heather & their 3 older children (our lovely wedding girls & awesome nephew as seen here) & got to meet Shiloh when she was about 2 weeks old. She is just the sweetest & I loved being able to capture a few precious photographs of her & mama.

Welcome to the world, Shiloh! We can't wait to get to know you more & more as you grow up :)

Faubert Family | Lake Newport Photo Session | Reston Photographer

After David & Sabrina's gorgeous Fathom Gallery wedding earlier this spring, Sabrina asked if we could do a sibling portrait session of her, David & her awesome younger brother Yannick as her mom's birthday was right around the corner. What sweet images to pass on to Mama Faubert!

We had the best time - despite several swarms of early morning gnats - shooting around cozy spots near Lake Newport. If y'all, like me, don't live in Reston, it can be a little tricky to find even with Sabrina's awesome, hand-drawn map! Luckily I left my house with pleeenty of time to get quasi-lost & still make it there early :)

Sabrina & Yannick's close sibling bond is so evident - from his hilarious wedding toast honoring his big sis to the playful way they interacted during photos. And David fits right in, adding so much joy & laughter to their trio.

Y'all, they made these props! Talk about creative minds :) We couldn't resist adding a little more silliness to the already light-hearted photos. Personally I think the handlebar stache look really works for Yannick - for future No-Shave November perhaps?

Boyd Family | Cloverdale Barn Photo Session | Winchester Photographer

After photographing this sweet family in April, we were invited to join them for Easter dinner. Talk about a kind, hospitable family!

We first met Claire when we visited their wonderful Cloverdale Barn in Winchester last year when were on the hunt for a venue for our wedding. The rolling Northern Virginia hills and the rustic barn backdrop were exactly what we had been looking for & where Dean & I exchanged our vows last November. The Boyds are such a wonderful family & we loved getting to know the whole family even better. P.S. Brace yourself for adorableness overload! These 3 little granddaughters are beyond precious :)

The girls wanted to jump on Grandma & Grandpa's big backyard trampoline. Such pure joy as they bounced around!
